I purchased this shorty wetsuit for a recent diving trip to the Bahamas, and was well pleased with the fit and quality of it. I checked the reviews and saw the recommendation was to figure the sizes ran a little snug and bought accordingly, and it was an excellent fit. If anyone is in the market for a economical 2.5 shorty wetsuit, I would have to say this one is tough to beat.

Yes You can dive almost anywhere there. But the lake by the old air port is scary. I won�t go there again. You sink into like a quick sand kinda.

Well Capt B, I�m one dive away from completing my adavanced Open water. Just finished Nav, and Search. Need deep and I�ll move onto Rescue. Its to bad we dont have anything deeper than 50ft from the shore. Wish I would of thought about getting this done sooner. Did a really cool wall dive down to 118ft in cosumel. Oh well live and learn.

Capt B hey whats up?? ya so far i have been on island for 3 days and already dove the blue hole and barracuda drift and crevice and gab gab 1 and 2. tomorrow i am headed off to coco�s island to do some more dives there also. but yes deff on the pictures i have taken just about 100 so far. yesterdays dive on the crevice we were down about 70ft and ran across about a 10ft white tip shark. man that was simply amazing. My first shark and wow it blew my mind

This knife belongs in a small hand: thin and narrow so that grip is not easy for big hands (I wear large/xtra large gloves). The handle contours are not smooth so its not a comfortable, or secure, grip. Blade is sharp. Mounting options are several but depends on three small screws: dont know how secure it will be. Sheath has single lock, seems knife wont come out easely.

This backpack is good to carry basic snorkeling equipment. Getting all the stuff in is a bit slow, once everything is in it will be a bit tight. The mask will probably wont fit if you carry it in a protective case. Some long snorkels may need a little coaxing to be able to fit. Unless you have small feet (Im size 11) you may not be able to fit in bulky boots. Overall a good, well made bag that is minimalistic: once loaded the equipment will be a bit tight. Just the same, this means this bag wont take too much space in a compartment or car trunk

Tahoe would be a cool dive. These guys seem to be doing a great job and they�re Tahoe locals. Try a Google for the Sierra Diving Center. How often do you dive in Southern CA?

We were talking abouot the Island of San Salvador in the Northern Carribean. The Riding Rock Inn is pretty much the only dive operation and hotel on the island. They specialize in small personal groups with an emphasis on photography. There are also tons of iguanas everywhere. It�s actually their logo.

I really like Santa Cruz island. Kristin Does dive but only when the water is above 80. So we just dive together when were in the tropics. SO SAD!

Sounds like a blast. I had a buddy who ran his own operation there while his wife was stationed there. Warm clear water, beautiful reefs and ocassional Tigers. Take lots of pictures and post them here. Have a blast! When are you going to be there?

Santa Cruz is a great dive. If you like that one, you should check out Anacapa. The Sea Lion rookerie at the S.E. end is incredible fun. Have you guys been on the Spectre?

Capt B yep your`e sure right when I go diving I LOVE TO GO DIVING just booked a trip to the Red Sea on a liveaboad for a week from 6th Dec one of the coolest things that I whitnessed was four scalloped hammerheads about 30 foot away they were awesome

But you were correct in that San Salvador is the capitol city of El Salvador the country. Seems as though alot of names were repeated throughout the carribean. Ididn�t know there was diving in the lake in El Salvador.

Just may take you up on the offer for Central Coast trips here and there. Have been in Monterey Bay twice at Lover�s Pt and at the breakwater. Ever see otters further South than that?

Never seen four sharks at a time, but I have seen up to eleven different sharks in one hour on a snorkel trip. They don�t seem to like SCUBA gear, but snorkelers don�t bug them at all in the BVI. It was good to see their presence.

There are clubs all over the place in Ohio. Take a look at ocssdi.org. If they don�t have something for you, maybe they can steer you toward an organization or individual that can get you into the water locally. Otherwise, where have you been diving?

South of Jackson reef in the Red Sea hope to see more in a couple of weeks, saw some mantas in the Maldives while snorkelling they were so graceful wish the stayed around for longer but they came pretty close! 11 different sharks that must have been awesome like there is another one oh no its different again cool where were they ??

The goliath grouper was one of two that me and my dive buddy saw on that dive. They were both well over 500 lbs. We were the first on the deck and looked over the side and there they were! We were the only two on the dive that were lucky enough to snap photos of them. As soon as they saw us, they headed back into the lower reaches of the wreck.

That�s fantastic!! Nice shot too. Here in the Channel Islands in So CA, the big thing is Black Sea Bass. They get about that big and some of them will come right up to scare the hair off your back when you turn around and they�re three feet away with their mouth half open. lol
